Wedding Planning, moving, yard sale, being a great mommy and oh yeah, work!

So it's been pretty busy in the life of me as of late. I had decided to blog as a weekly ritual and well you see how that worked out for me over 5 weeks ago!!! Raven, my blogging bud says just Thursday, "you need to post a blog!" To my correction dear, you need to post a blog! You're sitting at 5 weeks ago as well!!!!

So what's going on with me you might ask?

In no particular order:
( I love bullet points by the way, get used to it!)

• This wonderful, magnificent boy that rescued me about 10 months ago got down on one knee surrounded by candles and flowers in our then soon to be living room.
• My two cats (Felicity and Mia) are ridiculous and Felicity shreds any kind of paper that I leave laying around the house. Its crazy. No worries of Identity theft with her around! Sheesh!
• I bought Twilight on DVD the day it came out and normally I pride myself on not being a "re-watcher" of movies, I have watched 4 times and see a new favorite scene every time I see it. I heart boys that sparkle!
• Work is busy to say the least, enough on that subject.
• We found and bought our dream home and closed on March 25th! It has a pool and although I am clueless to the ways of chemicals and such for it ! I am super stoked and can't wait to have some parties!!!!
• Sela is sooo excited about moving into her new room that she will share with Ethne.
• I am sooo excited about moving into my room that I will share with my love.
• We set our wedding date, June 13th 2009. It's our one year anniversary from the exact date that he rescued me from the airport! Our anniversary on our anniversary!
• We have a beautiful, big, private back yard so we are getting married there!
• My love now lives two houses down from my duplex and I miss him more each night!
• I need to sell most of my belongings! Yard sale, ebay, facebook, myspace, it's gotta go!
• I am getting some great deals with wedding stuff with weekly Michael's coupons! Lunch break shopping at half off! YAY!!!!
• I bought my dress after only trying on four! (That's a whole other blog!!!)
• We are going to DC and NYC for honeymoon!!! Yay for daily agendas!!!
• I need to buy Sela a whole new wardrobe! Why does she keep getting so tall?
• I got what I believe is the most amazingly beautiful engagement ring!

That's enough bullet points for now, I know there is lots more stuff but so much of it requires a separate blog. I think that will make me more determined to keep it up! I have lots to say about this blissful time in my life!

Oh, and by the way, I said yes!

Gorgeous on the inside!

I am currently house hunting, and there seem to be plenty for sale at the moment. I am only in the market for a certain part of town for a certain school district but now I am on 'alert' at the sign of any realtor sign. What I find funny are these extra small signs that are attached to the realty signs. Some signs read: price reduced, sale pending, but one phrase i found entertaining as I drove by it... Gorgeous on the inside.

What if I could make t-shirts that advertised for single women, Gorgeous on the inside, like a little promo for yourself? Then if you found a prospective mate you could add to the back, sale pending, just to let other guys know you have to beat the current offer!!!

These are the things I think about while driving down the road...!

"But who are you writing to?"

My boyfriend is a past blogger and many times the conversation has come up about his blogging days. Nearly every time I would comment... "but who are you writing to?" and he would explain "the world". Well I didn't get it, so I chose to ignore this world of blogging.
Then a few days ago my BF posted a bulletin on her myspace that said "I started my blog again" with a link. Well I am pretty sure I know everything there is to know about this said BF and NEVER have we discussed her having a blog! I thought it was a spam bulletin, I text her and said "change your password quick, someone has posted a bulletin under your name with a link that I am sure is not real!" I thought it must be some sort of trick to add horrible viruses to my precious laptop!!! She said that it was indeed hers and she used to do it a long ago and had started it back again. So I looked at the link with confirmation from her that my lap top would not self destruct from the clicking of her link. I opened up this "scrapbook looking" cute page that I was quite envious of... I read her posts and somehow felt as though I had just had a good conversation with my best friend. It was funny,cute, insightful, and let me know what was going on in her mind during times we seemed too busy with life to dish all the dirt. It suddenly dawned on me... she was writing to "the world" and by me reading it I felt connected and it made me happy.
The next day I went to pick up my C from her (BF that blogs) house and she showed me another blog of a clever girl in Cali. I read one from her about her lack of cooking skills and was hooked. The girl is obsessed with Edward, I mean come on she's got to be cool, so later at boyfriend's house I logged on to the clever girl blog and read and read and read some more until I fully understood. You type up your random thoughts of the day about life, love, family,friends, and any other random things you find funny and post it and "the world" can read it. In a time when America needs to laugh, why not laugh with me, or at me, whichever you prefer. So here it is my first blog, we'll see how it goes and hope "the world" enjoys it, or at least my bffs will find it humorous. Enjoy!
